The Black Russian Cocktail

coctel-black-russian Napoleon vodka

The Black Russian, like its predecessor the “White Russian”, is easy to mix at home. Simply stir the ingredients with ice and strain the liquid into a new glass.
You can use more coffee liqueur (made from rum and arabica coffee) and less vodka to make a sweeter drink, but with the sensory punch of Napoleon vodkas.

Ingredients:
200 ml Napoleon vodka
100 ml of coffee liqueur
Steps:
Add the vodka and liqueur in a blender with ice and stir until well chilled.
Strain into a glass with ice over fresh ice.
Some people make the “frozen black Russian”.
Well, it is enough to make the mixture in an electric mixer, without putting more than half a glass of ice.
The drink was created in the late 1940s by bartender Gustave Tops at the Hotel Metropole in Brussels.
